Terms & Conditions

These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the contract for any work we do for you - that is agreed separately and in writing, and where the two differ, the signed engagement wins.

Who you would be contracting with

This site is published under the name Laravel Services. The legal entity behind it is Codefacture Yazılım A.Ş., registered in Ankara, Türkiye. Any proposal, contract or invoice comes from that company.

The website itself

The site is provided as it is. We write it carefully and correct what we find, but we do not warrant that every page is free of error or that it will be available without interruption.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. A price, a timeline or a scope becomes binding only when it is in a written proposal signed by both sides.

Technical content

The articles on this site describe how we approach problems in Laravel applications. They are written from engagements we have run, and they are published so that they are useful to somebody who is not our client.

They are not advice about your system. Code examples are illustrative: they are written to show a mechanism, not to be pasted into production without understanding what they do. If you apply something from this site to your own application, that is your decision and your responsibility - which is exactly the standard we would want applied to anything we read elsewhere.

Trademarks

Laravel is not our trademark, and this site is not affiliated with the Laravel project or with the holder of that mark. Because that deserves more than a sentence buried in a contract page, it has one of its own: Trademarks.

Intellectual property

The text, code examples and design of this site belong to Codefacture Yazılım A.Ş., except where something is credited otherwise.

You may quote from the articles with attribution and a link. You may use the code examples in your own projects freely. What you may not do is republish a whole article as your own, or use the company name or marks in a way that suggests a relationship that does not exist.

Enquiries

When you send us an enquiry, you are telling us you are authorised to share whatever is in it. Please do not send credentials, personal data belonging to other people, or anything under an obligation of confidence you have not cleared - we ask for a repository or a URL, and that is deliberately as much as we need to give you a useful first answer.

We treat what you send as confidential to the extent it obviously is. Where you need that in writing before telling us anything, say so and we will sign a mutual NDA first.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or of information published on it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Liability arising from work we carry out for you is dealt with in the engagement contract, not here.

Links out

Where we link to another site, we link because it is useful. We do not control what it publishes afterwards and we are not responsible for it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Turkish law, and the courts of Ankara have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer rather than a business, this does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country where you live - though this site sells engineering services to businesses, and we do not expect that to arise.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the version that is published.
